How it works on this site

After my career data loads, the page picks a stable colour recipe from the role identifiers. A full-page layer uses fixed-position gradients (no continuous animation) for lower GPU use—pure CSS, not WebGL.

With reduced motion preferred at the system level, animations stop and the colours stay fixed but still match the same recipe.
Buttons and text sit above the artwork so everything stays readable and clickable.
The downloadable one-page profile export does not include this effect (it is meant for printing).
